Obituary of Armando Cipriano Trujillo

Armando Cipriano Trujillo, grandson, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away after a long illness battle at Poudre Valley Hospital on February 5, 2024. Only 9 days from his 33rd birthday on February 14, 2024, Valentine’s Day.

Armando is survived by his grandmother, Lupe Chacon, parents, Archie and Mary Trujillo, brothers, Anthony Trujillo, Adrian Trujillo, Thomas Sandoval ,sister in law Mari Ruiz, godparents, (also uncle & aunt)Carlos and Yvonne Ruiz. Uncles, Joe Trujillo, Chofe Herrera, Jesus Garcia, Daniel Gonzalez, Jason Leahy. Aunts, Sophie Garcia, Ruth Trujillo, Bea Martinez, Amy Trujillo, Rita Chacon, Priscilla Leahy, Yolanda Chacon and Monica Johnson He is also survived by his niece, Aleyna Trujillo and nephew, Emillio Trujillo and his precious dog Miss Molly. Armando was blessed with having numerous cousins and friends from Colorado to New Mexico, to California.

Armando was preceded in death by grandparents Susano and Antonia Trujillo, Steve Chacon Jr., uncles, Paul Chacon, Steve Chacon II, Dave Hererra, Greg Trujillo. Aunts, Darlene Balderrama, Corinne Castillo.

Armando dreamt about becoming a Police Officer but due to severe medical issues, he decided to pursue a different course within the Criminal Justice system. He achieved many accomplishments during his time here with us. He was born February 14th, 1991 and lived in Loveland all his life. He first graduated from Loveland High School in 2009, attended Front Range Community College achieving his Associate of Arts degree and Study Focus on Criminal Justice/Psychology in 2015. He also attended Aims Community College for Peace Officer Academy and graduated the Police Cadet Academy in 2017. At the time of his passing, he was enrolled at CSU Global to achieve his bachelors in Criminal Justice.

Armando held various positions. Originally starting as a Police Explorer at Loveland Police Department and ultimately became an advisor at the end of 2012. He was employed with Securetas Security Services as a security guard, while also employed with Hospital Courier Corporation, part-time as a medical courier to various hospital’s laboratories in Fort Collins until 2019. Employed with Mead Police Department as a (CSO) Community Service Officer, enforcing codes and assisting officers out in the field until 2020. His last position was with (LEU), Longmont Emergency Unit as Deputy Chief and first responder and held numerous certificates throughout his years from various positions.

The family wishes to invite family and friends to join them for the Celebration of Life. Come and share good food, photos and great memories scheduled for Saturday March 23rd from 2:00-6:00pm at the Knights of Columbus, 1730 West 12th Street, Loveland, CO. 80537.
