Obituary of Wilma Priska Fixsen

Wilma Priska Weickart was born June 21, 1928 top Bruno and Lena (Neidig) Weickart in Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.

She married Leroy Dale Fixsen October 15, 1948, in Karlsruhe, Germany. They moved to Goodland, Kansas, where she resided until 1996. One of her proudest moments was when she became a naturalized citizen of the United State.

They had 4 children. Pamala Sue, 1949, Randall Lee, 1951, Lori Gail, 1957, and Jackie Lynn, 1960.

Together they owned and operated Fixsen TV Appliance for 21 years in Goodland. After Leroy passed, Wilma and her son Randall ran the business until her retirement in 1996.

Wilma loved to travel and enjoyed sharing her experiences of living in Germany during WW2.

After her retirement, Wilma moved to Longmont, CO. She lived there until she oved to Loveland in 2019.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy, grandson, Clayton Fixsen, her parents and 12 siblings.

She is survived by her sister Vera, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no services. Wilma will be buried alongside Leroy in Goodland, Kansas.
