Obituary of Marcia Janice Squibb

Marcia was born June 19^th, 1938 in the town of Marceline, MO to her parents Rose Louise (Thome) Rice and Newcomb E Rice. She was born in the same town that Walt Disney went to school in and where he spent his childhood.

She moved to Independence, MO. with her mom, living with relatives for a short time, then moved to K.C., MO, with her mom to live with her aunt. She attended a number of schools.

She graduated 8^th grade from Holy Cross Catholic School 1952 and then her mom and herself moved to Denver, CO., to live with her aunt and uncle. She attended Holy Family High School and graduated June 1956. Marcia worked several different jobs in her adult life from finance to credit bureau, airline catering, several construction companies as a flagger for 12 years.

She belonged to Local #578 Grand Junction, Laborers Union. She met her husband, Robert Squibb, while working on the same construction job in Grand Junction. Marcia has three children from a previous marriage, Michael Steele, Tracy M. Steele and Charles Steele. She was divorced from her previous husband October 1978. She marriage Robert March 9, 1984.

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents.
