It is with profound sadness and aching hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Leticia Farrer, a radiant soul whose presence touched the lives of many. On January 7, 2024, in Loveland, CO, Leticia peacefully bid farewell to this world. She was not just a parent, grandparent, and friend, but an extraordinary beacon of unwavering kindness and boundless compassion. Leticia's love and generosity knew no bounds; her selflessness was a testament to her extraordinary character.

 

Born on January 3, 1949, in the bustling city of New York, New York, Leticia was the cherished daughter of Rafael Farrer and Aurora Cruz. Growing up in New York City, she attended Central Commercial HS, graduating in 1967. Leticia embarked on a remarkable career, dedicating nearly three decades of her life to the New York Telephone Company, where she ultimately retired as a Manager.

 

Leticia was preceded in death by her father, Rafael Farrer, her mother, Aurora Cruz, her brother, Rafael Farrer Jr, and her brother, Oscar Farrer. Although they have left this world, their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them.

 

Left to cherish her memory are the father of her sons, Carlos Hernandez Sr., her sons, Steven Hernandez and Carlos Hernandez Jr., her daughter-in-law, Ruby Hernandez, and her grandchildren, Yasmine Hernandez, Valeria Hernandez, Ciera Hernandez, Xander Hernandez, Leo Hernandez, and Omar Hernandez. Among those she left behind was her loyal and furry companion, Sammy. Sammy was not just a pet but Leticia's steadfast companion and support animal. Their bond was unbreakable, and Sammy found solace in Leticia's unwavering presence until the very end.

 

Leticia approached life with an infectious zest, infusing every room she entered with laughter and joy. Her vibrant spirit and heart of gold were evident in her unwavering commitment to helping others. Family meant the world to her, and her love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds. Leticia showered them with affection, always ready with a warm hug or a gentle pat on the back. The moments spent together created a tapestry of cherished memories that will forever be etched in their hearts.

 

When she wasn't surrounded by her beloved family, Leticia found solace and joy in the company of dear friends. She was truly blessed to have some of the most incredible friends, whose love for her was immeasurable.

 

Leticia's legacy is one of kindness and selflessness. She touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark of love and compassion on her family, friends, and loved ones. As we grieve the loss of our cherished Leticia, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she led. May her spirit inspire us to live with the same love and generosity that she embodied. A memorial service to honor and celebrate Leticia's life will be held on January 17, 2024, at Viegut Funeral Home, located at 1616 N. Lincoln Ave. in Loveland, CO.
