Tamela Hammond Harding

Obituary of Tamela Sue Hammond Harding

Tamela Harding born Oct 21 of 1962 to November 21 of 2023, in Greeley Colorado. Preceded in death by her father Kingman L Harding and mother Shirley A. Harding. She is survived by her brother Todd, daughters Melissa and Elizabeth, grandchildren Amiya, Kyle, Aleah, Natasha, Jasmine, Elijah, Arieana, and 4 great grandchildren.

Most of her early memories were spent at her grandparents home, the Alles farm northwest Greeley, her favorite place!  She loved spending time with her grandmother in the kitchen and watching her cook. Tamela was a natural born leader at a very young age and was engraved in cement of college in Fort Collins racing her mustang, she was a wildcat. Everyone who knows knows her racing skills, like a wild horse free.

She soon settled down and started a family raising her two girls. Not  long after she restarted her life and traveled through Montana with her girls. The best times was on the highway windows down with hair blowing in the wind with only on thing on the mind…Freedom. Eventually Tamela and her daughters Elizabeth and Melissa ending back up in Greeley not long after her mother Shirley tragically passed away. Shortly after she became a grandmother as her first grandchildren were born and soon after consumed her whole world.  She spent every moment with her grandchildren teaching them how to cook, bake, make things, trash can hunt, and gardening’s were some of her favorite things to do. Every memory with her grandchildren from first steps, to first words, to first day at school were all spent together. Tamela was one of the reasons everyone of the grandchildren came out so unique and everyone of them have some special trait taught to them from their Nana. These will be passed on to her great grandchildren; Deimos, Ayva, Aiyana, and Athena… All under 2 years of age so you can only imagine how full her heart is knowing her beautiful lineage of healthy beautiful children

Tamela loved to laugh, and cheer everyone up, she was the lighthouse of hope in your day. She loved to tell stories and reminisce on her past Life experiences, especially on the farm and in Fort Collins as a teenager. Her stories will be long remembered, heartfelt, and held on for generations to come - her lineage is after all a great expression of her heart and wildness dreams. Her heart will be reflected in every moment forward as her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren let her go so she can be received back into the Kingdom of heaven, where her beloved mother and father are waiting as well as her ancestors that came before her.

Her time here has come to an end, but her story will live long with the ones who love her and we will carry on her traditions as well as her laughter for she was the truest definition of Love. Thank you Dear Father God Almighty for gifting us this time with her, for she is so beyond loved. Amen.
