Obituary of Fern Mae Whitson

Fern Mae Whitson was born February 15,1940 to John and Mollie Bernhardt. Fern grew up in Loveland, CO the majority of her 83 years. 

She is proceeded in death by Richard Whitson, her daughter Rhonda Bernhardt- Offerman, Father John, Mother Mollie, Brothers Aaron, Wayne, Charles, Gary. Sisters Saundra, and Janice. She is survived by her sisters Colleen, Bessie, and Cheryl. Her surviving children son’s Richard Whitson, Lance Whitson, Steven Whitson, and daughter Katrina Evans. Her grand children Rachel, Bridget, Jacob, Amanda, Keith, Justin, Brookelyn, Travis, Cynthia, Nick, MaKayla, and Taylor. 

Her Great grand children brought Fern so much joy and happiness. She loved helping them all unconditionally.

Fern worked at Colorado Crystal, NCR, Hewlett-Packard, and the Courtyard by Marriott. 

Fern was a strong independent woman up to the day of her death November 23, 2023. Services will be held at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens next to her daughter Rhonda in June of 2024.
