Obituary of Susan Aragon

 

Born to Robert and Merline Hansen of Lisbon Iowa.

Sue graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and Western Illinois University with a degree in elementary education.

Sue relocated to Boulder, Colorado where she met and married Gary Aragon.

 They celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary this November 1^st.

Sue retired in 2016 after many years as a laboratory technician with Aragon
Elastomers (formerly Kryptonics).

In addition to being a kind neighbor and friend Sue “Suki” was a passionate animal advocate, providing a loving home to many cats and dogs over the years supporting while supporting various rescue organizations.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents.  Survivors include her husband, sister Marianne (John) Garrigan and several nieces, nephews and friend plus her precious mini-Aussie, Ziva.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary at the Larimer County Humane Society.

On behalf of the family we want to thank the ICU staff at McKee hospital for their overwhelming support and kindness.
