Obituary of Donald Frederick Schultz

Donald Frederick Schultz was born on June 29, 1963 to Lloyd and Lorraine Schultz.

Don grew up on the family farm outside of Belle Plaine, Minnesota. After graduating from Belle Plaine High School in 1981, he went on to Mankato State University where he graduated with a degree in parks and recreation. He spent several years managing Creekview and Longfellow Parks in Minneapolis before moving to Colorado in the mid 90’s.

While in Colorado, Don met the love of his life, Tara Sheahan, and they were married in the summer of 2000. Don and Tara were blessed with two sons, Aidan and Kellan.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife Tara, his sons Aidan and Kellan, his mother Lorraine, his brothers, sisters and their families and his mother in law and father in law, Jim and Barbara Sheahan, and their children.

Don was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He is sadly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at 9:30 am Wednesday, April 5th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland, CO. A memorial service will also be held in Belle Plaine, MN at a date to be announced.
