Obituary of Claudia Davison Lewis

Claudia was born in Loveland, Co, August 9, 1975. She was raised in Loveland by her parents Cindy and Ed Bublitz. With family at her side, Claudia passed away February 27, 2023.

As a child and pre-teen, Claudia thrived spending time with family; being home with mom and dad, spending time at the Bublitz family Ice Cream Shop, spending weekend days ‘playing’ with her aunts, relaxing with her cat ‘Opal’, and especially spending time with her grandparents. This was her world and to her it was ‘Everything.’

As Claudia grew older, she lived the life of a teen; spending time with friends, pushing the envelope. This is also when she, I guess you would say, “found her voice.” She grew to be strong, determined, and certain about who she was. This is when she found her soulmate and future husband, Jeff Lewis.

Jeff and Claudia were married on December 24, 1996. Claudia and Jeff gave birth to their daughter Faith in 1997. Once again Claudia wrapped herself in her world of “Family”, Jeff, Faith, Parents, In-Laws, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews. And now her world included her feisty cat, Indica’ and devoted companion ‘Duke.’ This was her world and to her it was ‘Everything.’

Her passing has left ‘Emptiness’ and finding out who we are without her will not be easy.

Claudia was preceded in death by Great-Grand Parents; Harvey and Thelma Eddy, grandparents; Fran and Web Davison, Doris and Edward Bublitz, great-aunt; Virginia Rutt, aunt; Val Davison, uncles; Dale Bublitz, David Bublitz, George Martinez, brother-in-law; Craig Allen Steinboch, nephew; Shawn Michael Lujan, niece; Samantha Mae Steinboch; and beloved ‘Opal’ the cat.

Claudia is survived by her husband, Jeff, daughter, Faith, parents Cindy and Ed, mother-in-law, Patty Lewis and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. And of course, feisty cat, Indica and devoted companion Duke.
