Obituary of Kay Lechman

On February 26^th, 2023, Barbara Jean Kay Lechman (Kay) passed away surrounded by family. She was 80 years old.

Kay was born to Kenneth Steinke and Bee Logan on March 2nd, 1942, in Holdrege, Nebraska. They resided in Funk, Nebraska.

She graduated from Holdrege High School and attended beauty school.

Kay married David Michel on March 19^th, 1962, and lived in Grand Island, Nebraska. Kay was a homemaker but utilized her beauty skills to cut hair and sell Avon out of her home while raising her family. She also worked at the Widow McCoy in Loveland for 25 years.

Kay is survived by her five children Jeff Michel (wife Janna). Scott Michel, Brian Michel (wife Erica)

Jana Grasseschi (husband Jason), Jennifer Tag (husband Justun), twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on March 11^th at 10:30 am at the Viegut Funeral home, 1616 N Lincoln Ave Loveland, CO.
