Mark Duran

Obituary of Mark Todd Duran

“As I was praying I heard God say. Trust me for another day. You will have struggles from time to time. But keep your faith in me and you will shine. The roads have been broken and are sometimes rough. Just stay positive and you will stay tough. As all things are possible through me. You just need to believe. It is amazing the things that you may achieve”. - Mark Duran

Mark Duran, 50, was born March 15, 1972, to Joann and Rudy Duran in Loveland, Colorado.
February 6, 2023, Mark crossed the streets of gold to the gates of heaven where he was reunited and welcomed by his grandparents (Joe and Mabel Ornelas) and (Ernesto and Juanita Duran) as well as his sister Tina Marie Duran.

Mark grew up in Paradise Acres in Loveland with his brother Scott Duran, and sister Lisa Duran Nyhart.
Mark and his siblings were inseparable, they spent many summers spending time with family, and playing ball for the LBA, at the Loveland baseball fields. Mark was a team player in everything he did including wrestling and baseball during his high school years.

After graduating from Thompson Valley High school, Mark worked at Budweiser driving trucks. He also spent many years in the limousine industry where he was owner of Elegant Limousine.
With his passion for driving, Mark also spent time over the road truck driving, and had the opportunity to see many states during these adventures.
Mark was also very mechanically inclined and loved working on limos, and anything with an engine, he could fix.

Music and writing poems were just a few of the ways that he spread God’s message and inspired others.
Mark had a heart of gold, and everything was always done with kindness. He always found time to put a smile on everyones face, serving others was his passion.

Mark was a proud father of 3 sons; Dylon, Austin, and Colton. He also cherished moments with his granddaughter Paislee Duran, and daughter-in-law Gentry Duran. His boys were his world. From taking a spontaneous road trip to Texas, with Colton, to fishing at the lake. Mark and his boys also spent lots of karaoke and bingo nights, and taking the limousine out on the town. These were just a few of the many adventures. Mark also enjoyed spending time with his nieces Adisyn, Kassidi, Averie, Emma; and his nephew Bryson.

“If I were an angel you would never have any sorrow. You would always look forward for tomorrow. I would always keep you safe. I would always keep that beautiful smile on your face. You would never have any worries. This world would never seem so blurry. I would always love you and always be there for you”. - Mark Duran
