Obituary of Terry Lou Roy

On Thursday February 2nd Terry Lou Roy, beloved wife and mother of 4 passed away at the age of 73 in Loveland, Colorado. Terry was born on March 31st 1949 to Marvin and Dorthy Tucker in Denver Colorado. Terry attended Lincoln high school where she met the love of her life. On Valentine’s Day 1966 she married her high school sweetheart Don Roy JR. Shortly after Don joined the Navy and they relocated to Norfolk, Virginia. In 1972 they moved to Idaho Springs, Colorado and began raising their family. In 1986 her family moved to Loveland, Colorado.

Terry was a caring and loving mother of four, however she dealt with great loss in her life. In 1967 Terry lost her first son, Don Roy III shortly after birth and she lost her second son, David Roy in 2020. Terry was an extremely strong lady that loved with all her heart. She is survived by her husband Don Roy JR, son Don Roy IV, daughter Sherri Roy and six grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
