Nasier Graham

Obituary of Nasier Rico Graham

“Everything the light touches... is our kingdom. But a king's time…rises and falls like the Sun”

Nasier’s mother called him sun, I don’t know if he knew that she was calling sun not son, but he was her Sun, and everyone else around him, when he entered a room, he would light it up with his beautiful smile. Nasier was born on August 31, 2004 and shares a birthday with his favorite uncle Dante Middleton. Although he was born in Aurora, Colorado, his true home and heart lies in Loveland.

Nasier loved his name and the meaning “helper, protector, supporter and victory-maker” fits perfectly to his spirit, personality and his interactions with others. Nasier was loved and he showed love to all. He would do anything for his family. Nasier loved his mom, not her cooking. He loved her ways of life; he admired her skills in surviving this world. Nasier loved his dad, for their conversations about any and everything, especially their love for football, they would spend hours on the phone. His dad was his best friend. Nasier loved his grandmother for her love, her cooking, her crazy stories and s, watching movies and spending time with her. Nasier loved his big sister Najah, she was his role model. He knew that if he didn’t have anyone, he would always have her, that was his twin and best friend. Even though his close friends were not blood related they were his family, as he referred to them as “The Boys.” He loved their conversations and jokes. His girlfriend Lexi, she was one of his best friends, a person that he could be vulnerable with. Nasier’s super power was being silly, making people laugh and smile.

As a man of action, Nasier had big dreams, goals and a drive for achievement. In high school Nasier was well loved on campus. His teachers always felt the love he radiated. Anyone was blessed to be in his presence. Nasier was a leader on and off the field. He was respected and admired by his teammates and peers. Although Nasier did not like school, he shared that in common with his mother, he graduated from Mountain View high school in 2022. During his time in high school, he played football for four years for the Mountain Lions. Nasier chose to give his life to God and was baptized at Foundation church on June 10th, 2017. Nasier always maintained employment and was a hard worker. He held jobs at Burlington and Breeze Thur’s Car Wash. His last job was an apprenticeship at Front Range Heating and Plumbing where he loved the experience and looked toward building a future in the trade. Nasier didn't just stop there, he was a collector and his collections included Jordans, Funko Pops, magazines, hats and albums. He made plans and just created his first investment.

Nasier was a person with a beautiful soul, he was kind, giving, confident, genuine and understanding. He made others feel safe and at peace. As a dedicated son, Nasier was the smile on his mother’s face and the calmness that she needed in tackling life's challenges. Nasier was a support system, he would always listen to his dads’ stories and give great advice, he made sure everyone felt heard. He stayed by his grandmother Yvonne’s side and cared for her as she battled kidney disease and received a Kidney Transplant. Nasier checked up on his grandmother most days and always left her with a hug and a “I love you”.

Nasier’s life ended much too soon and he leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother and father Latashia Graham and Frederico Graham, his devoted sister Najah Graham and half-brother Jahlil Graham, his devoted grandparents Yvonne Brooks (Douglas, deceased), Darrell Dantzler (Darlene), Patricia Middleton (deceased), his girlfriend Lexi Hensley, uncles Dante Middleton and Cedric Graham, aunts Stephanie Dantzler, Teireni Bradford, Domineek Gallo, Jessica Graham, Marlee Middleton. And a host of cousins and close friends.
