Obituary of Vern Virgil Schultz

Vern Schultz died January 16, 2023 at the age of 83 in Loveland, CO. 

 

He was born December 8, 1939 to Gregory and Anna (Kulla) Schultz in Wells, MN. He was the 10th child of 12. 

 

Vern joined the Army and served his country for 3 years. After an honorable discharge he worked in commercial construction and was self-employed until retirement. 

 

He married Frances (Bonney) June 13, 1964 and they moved to Ft. Collins shortly afterwards. 

Vern and Fran had 3 children: Kris, Kim and Steve. 

 

Vern is survived by his wife Fran, and children: Kris (Schultz) Garno; her children Jordan and Chelsea. 

Kim (Schultz) McDaniel, husband Rusty, their children; Ashley and McKenzie. Steve Schultz and wife Jessica. 

 

A funeral service will be held Friday January 20, 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church. Lunch reception to follow.
