Obituary of Lilas Jeanean Neitzel

Lilas was born on April 12, 1939 to Roy A and Myrtle V Rowan in Loveland.  She attended school in Loveland and graduated from Loveland High School in 1957. After graduation she attended Southern California Bible College. After that, she returned to Loveland and was employed by Hewlett Packard. She met Jerry Neitzel while he was working at a butcher shop and married him in September 1965. Their son Mark was born in 1967 and their daughter Stacey was born in 1971. Lilas was an exceptional housewife, cook and mother. As her health declined from MS she moved to Good Samaritan to get the care she needed. She received excellent care there. Lilas had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing in church choirs. She loved the Lord and was a devout Christian. She also enjoyed travelling and seeing new scenery while on the road with Jerry in their travel trailer. She was precious to everyone who knew her and everyone who know her was precious to her. Lilas is survived by her husband Jerry, her son Mark and wife Pam; her daughter Stacey and her husband Garth. Also three grandchildren, Katie, Allie and Wren. She was a special lady and will be missed by us all.
