Patricia McClure

Obituary of Patricia Sue McClure

Patricia Sue McClure, (a.k.a Fuckin’ Patty) was born on September 5th, 1967 in Sacramento, California to parents who don’t deserve to be mentioned. She considered Port Hueneme, California to be her home. Patty was the mother of Melissa Sue McClure and Matthew Ryan McClure. She was the grandmother of Temperance Eloise McClure and Neveah Woodiel. She was the sister of Doug McClure and Vickie McClure.

After a courageous and long battle with depression and anxiety the pain became too difficult and Patty took her own life. She joins her beloved son Matthew, her sister Debbie and her Grandmother Eloise in Valhalla.

Patty was strong, opinionated and not afraid to let you know so. She was more stubborn than a mule. You always knew exactly where you stood with her, she had no problems letting you know. She was loved or feared by everyone she met. She was often difficult but had a heart of gold once you got past her defenses. Her spirit animal was the porcupine. She was generous, she was kind and she genuinely cared for people that she loved. She collected turtles and silver coins. She hid rubber duckies around buildings. She loved fishing, kayaking, hiking, being right and cross stitching. Above all, she loved being with her granddaughter Temperance Eloise.

Patty proudly identified as a heathen. She was a daughter of Odin and a fighter. She will feast for all of eternity in the hall of slain warriors. If you or a loved one are considering harming yourself please call the suicide and crisis hotline at 988 or 800-273-TALK (8255).  Even the strongest of us can lose the battle.

Patty hated funeral flowers so please bring many.
