Judy Guerrero

Obituary of Judy Ann Guerrero

Judy Ann (Wachsmann) Guerrero, 63, passed away peacefully at home, in the presence of family, following a long battle with ovarian cancer.

Judy was born November 18th, 1958 in Loveland, Colorado to Maria and John Wachsmann. She graduated from Loveland High School and received her Bachelor of Arts from Regis University where she was also the Director of Marketing for their School of Professional Studies. She later obtained a Certified Financial Planner designation while supervisor for the Life/Health Response Center at State Farm. She loved all people and thrived helping others succeed.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Lloyd Guerrero, children Ryan (Lindsay) Guerrero, Brittney (Brian) Goetsch, Nathan (KJ) Guerrero, siblings John Ray (Kathy) Wachsmann, Robert Wachsmann, Deborah (Jim) Bray, and grandchildren Sofia and Sawyer Guerrero, and Braxton and Brielle Goetsch.

While her time on earth was far too short, she lived her life to the fullest. Her thoughtfulness and generosity touched all who knew her. For those of us who were lucky enough to call her mom, grandma, wife, sister, aunt, or friend, this world will never be the same. Many say rest in peace, we prefer to think of her being active and enjoying every minute in heaven as she did on earth.

A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Loveland on Friday, October 14th at 1 pm. Zoom viewing will be available at https://zionloveland.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ovarian cancer research and support through the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance at colo-ovariancancer.org or FORCE- Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered at (facingourrisk.org).
