Obituary of Cynthia Susan Brooks

Cynthia Brooks, or Cindy, was called by our Lord on September 7th, 2022, at the age of 65 while at home in Berthoud, Colorado, with her husband by her side. 

She is survived by her husband Mike, and her sons Michael, and his wife Krystal Brooks, and daughter Ady Laney, Daniel and his wife Bria Russman-Brooks and her son Devlin Perry and daughter Evie Perry, Steven Brooks, her Mother Roberta Ewing and brother-in-law Marcus, his wife Lindsay and chosen daughter Katherine Baker and her son Miles, nieces and nephews and many others she welcomed as her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Ewing and his wife Thelma, Gene Ewing, her brother, and Dale her brother-in-law. Cindy enjoyed three careers, the first she learned in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and Aerospace Medical Technician. The second path took her into management as a medical staff assistant at Lutheran Medical Center and Office Manager for Upper Extremity Rehabilitation and finally, as an Office Manager for Maggi Town & Country Real Estate, Berthoud Colorado.

Cindy’s first love and focus was always on family. She enjoyed working on crafts to brighten up our home. She loved to train and show our family pets, travel and take trips to the mountains and go camping with the family. She truly loved to read and enjoyed many different theater and media presentations.

Donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. A celebration of life will be held at Viegut Funeral Home on September 22, 2022, at 10:30am
