Obituary of John Dudley Wimmer

John Dudley Wimmer, 53 of Windsor, Colorado passed away September 11, 2022, in Loveland, Colorado surrounded by friends and family. John D. was born in Bloomington, Indiana on March 31, 1969, to John and Janet Wimmer. He graduated from Bloomington High School North in 1987. In early 2000, he moved to northern Colorado. His time in Colorado was spent enjoying the outdoors: riding motorcycles, golfing and taking his boat out. Most of his life was spent in the motorsports industry. He thoroughly enjoyed his career at Tri-City-Cycle for more than 14 years. Alongside his career, he also loved being involved in his community by doing charity work. John lived his life to the fullest; there was never a dull moment around him. He was an amazing friend to many and loved talking to anyone and everyone. His heart was gold, and he never knew a stranger. He was loved by many and will be sincerely missed. John D. is survived by: daughter Britney (Jason), granddaughter Willow Long; sister Julie (Justin), nephew Jace, niece Josie Roselle; aunt Judy, uncle Jim, cousins Joe, Bruce, Amy Ayers and their families; Jeff (Tracy) Tyler, Tristan, and Tessa Wimmer. He is proceeded in death by his parents and grandparents. Celebration of life will be held at 10am on October 14^th at Foundations Church in Loveland, 1380 N Denver Ave. Loveland, CO 80537. Memorial gifts can be made to Realities for Children of Fort Collins. He will be buried in Unionville, Indiana- service and date to be determined.
