Obituary of Frances Torres

Frances Torres passed peacefully on August 8, 2022, at home surrounded by the love of her family.

Frances was born on December 23, 1934, in Johnstown, Colorado to Casey Martinez & Helen Olivas

She met and married the love of her life, Albino Torres on September 9, 1951 and celebrated 62 years of marriage.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Albino Torres, Alan Torres (son) & Albina Torres (daughter) and her only sister, Agnes.

Frances is survived by her sons Ron Torres, Robert Torres and daughters Kathy Meyer, Lorraine Leverenz, Vicky Santee, Delieva Williams, and Stephanie Romshek 15 Grandchildren 25 great grandchildren.

Frances worked for Hewlett Packard for 32 years and Hach Company for 15 years, making many lifelong friends until her retirement.

There was never a shortage of love and laughter when she was around. Frances enjoyed being with her family, visiting friends, crafting, garage sales and so much more.

Frances immediately lit up any room she entered and made an impact on many people.  She filled her home with warmth and kindness, making sure everyone enjoyed her homemade meals.  

Service will be held at Saint Johns Catholic Church in Loveland on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 10:00 am.

Viewing – Thursday, August 11, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Viegut Funeral Home (1616 N. Lincoln Ave.)

Rosary – Friday, August 12, 10:00 am at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Parish with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow service at Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Frances Torres to Larimer County, Banner Health Hospice in care of Viegut Funeral Home.
