Obituary of Daniel Edwin Dow

Daniel Edwin Dow, a loving father and husband, wonderful son and brother, and silly uncle passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He fought a 3-year courageous fight against stage 4 colon cancer. He was 50. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Belinda Betancourt Dow, and children Lina, Isabelle and Thomas Dow. He is also survived by his mother Deanna Dow, his sister Dawn and brother in law Joe Karr, and nephew Christopher Karr. He was preceded in death by his father David Edwin Dow. 

Dan graduated from Loveland High School in 1990 and then joined the army infantry. He was part of the 82nd Airborne stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. After serving four years with the military, he enrolled at Colorado State University and earned his degree in chemical engineering. He later began his career as a water and wastewater infrastructure manager with Lockwood, Andrews and Newnam Inc. in Austin, Texas.

We will be celebrating and remembering Dan’s life on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Loveland, Colorado at Viegut Funeral Home. Visitation and viewing will be 10am to noon. Memorial service from noon to 1pm. Burial at Loveland Burial Park across the street following the service. Reception with the family immediately following burial back at Viegut Funeral Home’s reception room. We will be wearing bright or fluorescent colors, Dan’s favorite. Please join us!
