Obituary of Charles Ray Fitch

Charles (“Charlie”) Fitch, born in Holdrege, NE, passed away at his home in Loveland, CO on July 2, 2022 at the age of 78.  He is survived by his three children and their families, a sister and three brothers.

Charlie was an army veteran and retired from a 33 year career in the meat cutting industry.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed overseeing the construction of several personal homes and other small building projects on his country properties.  He also loved spending time in the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, hiking or simply watching the wildlife from the privacy of his home.  And while he spoke frequently of how much he was fond of the quiet solitude of life on “the hill,” he equally looked forward to meeting up with people for coffee and conversation.  In his final words, he “lived a good life.”
