Obituary of Rebecca Ann Bartz

Rebecca (Becky) Ann Bartz, of Loveland, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2022, at her home after her courageous and determind battle against Ovarian Cancer. She is survived by her husband Clarence Russell (Russ) Bartz, of Loveland, son Allen Russell Bartz (Stefanie) of Fort Collins, daughter Alyssa Ann Bartz of Loveland, beloved grandson Blake Russell Bartz of Fort Collins, mother Lorna Miller of Loveland, brother Erland Urban (Eileen) of Hartland, CT; sisters Ranae Williams (Tom) of Loveland, and Rhonda Rutledge (Ted) of Parker, CO. Also many nieces and nephews.
Becky was born on July 3, 1958, in Albert Lea, MN to Oscar E. Urban and Lorna Wilde and lived in Plankinton, SD until she later moved to Loveland, CO in 1965. Becky graduated from Loveland High School and later attended Larimer County Vo-Tech (later Front Range Community College) and Aims Community College. After school Becky worked as an administrative assistant for several local businesses. In addition, she assisted her husband Russ with operating various businesses of their own over the years. Her journey eventually led her to work with both Banner Health (McKee Medical Center) and finally UCHealth (Medical Center of the Rockies).
Becky loved to serve others in any way that she possibly could. Whether that be listening or talking with someone, assisting someone with something they may need, giving to those that are less fortunate, providing moments of humor in good times or in bad, or simply offering words of encouragement and prayer for someone. Many will remember Becky the most by her strong faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the strength she would pose for not only herself but for others as well, and the compassion she would have for anyone who knew her, including those she just met.
She also loved to travel, go for mountain drives, sit by an ocean to listen to the waves comes in, and was an avid fan and season ticket holder of the Denver Broncos. Most of all she loved her family and friends. She would live each day for her family or be there for her friends until her last breath. Whether that was enjoying countless trips with her husband, children, and grandson or just being able to sit down and visit with her mom, sisters, or brothers. She loved to laugh and find humor with her friends whenever she could. Becky also loved sunrises and sunsets as well as taking pictures of beautiful scenery no matter where she was at. One of her most recent joys was to spend as much time as possible with her grandson Blake. She often referred to him as her little angel and blessing from God. The would enjoy watching movies together, reading together, going to church together and making countless trips to both Disney World and Disneyland.
Becky is proceeded in death by her father Oscar E. Urban, brother Randy Urban, and her grandparents.
