Obituary of Del Fawcett

Del J Fawcett June 14th, 1936, to June 14th, 2022

Del went peaceful to be with Jesus in his sleep.

Del was born in a small cabin on the banks of the Mo. River near Forest City, South Dakota.

Farming and attending school in Gettysburg, South Dakota.

Del enlisted into the US Air Force in the mid 50’s. Del was seeing duty in several continental states. Plus Japan, Korea, and Vietnam prior to making Colorado his home. Longtime resident of the Loveland area, he worked at Hewlett Packard for 19 years. Del built a log house near Masonville and has drove airport Express over 25 years. Del was active in sports and coached 5th and 6th grade. In early years in Loveland, he was a Boy Scout leader and played softball for several years.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking. He enjoyed three children and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and fist wife Maureen (mother of his three children.)

He is survived by his wife Trudy, Evans Colorado, son William in Colorado Springs, son James in Colorado Springs, and daughter Diana in Evans Colorado. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, one step grandchild, and ex daughter in law, two sister in laws, and one brother in law.

Graveside service Thursday June 30, 2022 at 11:15am at Fort Logan National Cemtery in Denver.
