Obituary of Joanne Carol Kirk

Some people only walk this earth for a short time, their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. Wednesday, June 2^nd, Joanne Kirk rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings. Joanne may have lost her battle with cancer, but she never stopped fighting. No matter the obstacle and in the face of odds that would’ve broken so many she was always an example of perseverance and strength. Joanne is survived by her Husband, her daughter, two Stepson’s, and seven Grandchildren who brought her so much joy. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 9^th, at 11am at Viegut Funeral Home with a reception to follow as well as an additional celebration and scattering of her ashes at a later date in her home state of California. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find joy in knowing she’s healed and waiting for us in the arms of Our Father.
