Obituary of Susan Diane Miller

Susan “Sue” Diane Miller was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She left this world unexpectedly on May 22, 2022.

This spunky, loving competitive old soul loved her family and friends and never backed down from a challenge. Sue was married to Rick Miller for 49 years and had three children, Jason, Jaime and Jacob. Her deep love of family and friends was important to Sue as seen in the lives of her children, grandchildren, foster children, nieces, nephews and friends. Sue considered this to be the greatest privilege of her life.

To keep herself busy, Sue could often be found at her parents’ business the Rack and Snack in Berthoud, CO through her teenage years. Sue and Rick owned and operated a Bail Bonds Company for several years.  After retiring they spent time traveling Colorado to search for antiques to sell at Sue’s thrift store booth.

Sue enjoyed spending time with Rick looking out their windows at the majesty of the Rocky Mountains.  Nothing could replace the enjoyment Sue experienced when the wildlife chose to visit her at their home. A quick glance at the photos on her phone would reveal that Sue loved those animals and her family.

She is survived by her husband Rick, children Jacob and Jason (Natalie), Nephew Brandon (Diana), her grandchildren, Reily, Ragen and Kyle, nieces and nephews and her siblings Carol, Jack, Tom and Lori.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Frankie and Jack, daughter Jaime, and brother Dennis.

She made lifelong friendships and lived her life to the fullest, she loved with all of her heart and never backed down from a challenge.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Viegut Funeral Home, 1616 N. Lincoln Avenue, Loveland CO 80538.
