Obituary of Lynn Marie Johnson

Lynn Marie (Barry) Johnson, 75, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away on May 12, 2022 while in Hospice Care. Lynn was surrounded by friends and family during this time. Lynn was born October 29^th, 1946 to Lyle and Grace Barry in Dubuque, Iowa.

Lynn spent most of her childhood in Wisconsin. At the age of 17, Lynn went to school to become a Medical Technologist in Minneapolis, MN. While in Minnesota, Lynn met her husband, Larry Johnson, whose job took them to many different states. Due to moving all over the country, her love for travel was born. Lynn always wanted “she was curious” on her headstone. The travel and curiosity went hand in hand. If the ocean was near, Lynn was at peace! Beyond travel, Lynn loved spending time in the mountains, volleyball, playing Bingo and Mahjong with her friends, and spending time with her family.

Lynn thrived when she went to work for Hewlett Packard, on the production line, in 1976. Quickly moving up in the company, she ended her career, 30 years later, as the Site Facility Manager.

Lynn is survived by her son Scott Johnson and daughter-in-law Darci; daughter Tracy Wagner and son-in-law Lawrence; grandchildren Stefen Wilson, Ashlin Wilson, Hunter Johnson, Payton Johnson, Madison Woodward, Colton Johnson, Landri Johnson, Ryan Wagner, Logan Wagner; Great-grandchildren Lily, Mya and Kashton. Lynn is predeceased by her parents, a brother and her beloved son Cary.

A memorial will be held on July 23^rd, 2022, 12 Noon, at 13601 North County Road 11, Wellington, CO. At Lynn’s request, she has been cremated and her ashes will be spread in the mountains and the ocean at a later date. A headstone will be placed beside her son’s place of rest.
