Obituary of Magda Claudine Rachelle Janz

Magda Claudine Rachelle Janz (Jacques) was born on October 5th, 1962, to Father Eugene Jacques and Mother Jeannine Bothy, she was born in Belgium. She was 1 of 8 siblings, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Patrick, Martine, Carine, Evelyne, Erick, and Didier (Who passed in 2014) Magda passed on April 8th, 2022, at the age of 59 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Co. She was surrounded by all her children and loved ones when she passed due to health problems.

 

Magda is survived by all her 5 children. Daughter Cindy Prijatel and her husband Patrick and grandsons Connor and Caden. Daughter Fanny Kuehn and husband Richie and granddaughter Makaileigh and grandsons Cheech and Isaiah. Daughter Jennifer Vander Ghinst and fiancé Jessy and Grandson Jayson. Daughter Corrina and Son William. And ex-husband William Janz.

 

Magda started to work at a young age. She worked hard all her life. Magda was a very independent woman. She had many different professions such as a dog groomer, housekeeping, and a homemaker. Her best trait was being a mother, she loved all her children to the fullest, she is in all of us, and will continue to help guide all of us. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, drawing, telling stories and celebrating the holidays. She had several cats and dogs throughout her life she loved very much. Magda and William met in Brussels, Belgium on Valentine’s Day in 2000. She came to visit William in May of 2000 and they were married on May 19th, 2000, the day before she returned to Brussels. She permanently moved to Colorado with her 3 daughters and her grand poodle “Tequila” on September 11th, 2000.  Magda And William had 2 children together, Corrina and William jr. Magda fell in love with the Rocky Mountains, especially Estes Park where she lived for a couple of years.  Although Magda and William divorced, they were very much part of each other’s life and maintained a relationship through the following years. Magda enjoyed riding with William on their Harley Davidson in the mountains and various other destinations. She enjoyed the culture of the Indians. She loved going to concerts with loved ones and friends. Magda enjoyed playing online games and connecting with new friends.

 

Magda will be cremated and spread in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. All her children agreed that is what she would want. All her family and loved ones will be notified on date and location. The family wants to thank everyone for all the love and support we all have received. We have a long road ahead of us, but we all got each other. Magda was preceded in death by her father Eugene and mother Jeannine and brother Didier.
