Obituary of Daniel Crewe Smith

Daniel Crewe Smith of Loveland passed away February 25, 2022, at the age of 73. He was born in Denver, CO. to John and Evelyn Smith on February 12. 1949. He then joined the Air Force in 1969 and was in the Security Service until 1973.

                Daniel was stationed for 2 years in the Philippines and 2 years in Turkey. Daniel married Brenda Kaye Bussell on September 12, 1976, at Sweetheart Chapel in Loveland. Daniel and Brenda welcomed their 2 sons Dustin and Chad.

                Dan enjoyed photography, volunteering at Police Departments and the House of Neighborly where he retired.

Daniel is survived by his wife Brenda, son Dustin (Angie) grandchildren Simon and Caleb and son Chad. A brother Earl (wife Sharon) and niece Karen.

A VA Memorial Service will be held June 14, 2022 at 11AM at Viegut Funeral Home.
