Obituary of Thaddeus Henry Lienemann

Thaddeus (Thad) H. Lienemann, 56, passed away on February 27th, 2022, at his home in Loveland, CO, surrounded by family and cloaked in the armor of God. After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Thad’s earthly body gave way and his spirit returned to his heavenly home.

 

Born February 1, 1966, to Leon and Nelvie (Trauernicht) Lienemann in Orlando, FL. He grew up in Southeast NE, near Firth. Thad graduated from Norris High School in 1984. He served in the Air Force for four years. After completing his military service, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Engineering earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management in 1992. Thad joined the team at Sampson Construction in Lincoln, NE as a project manager. He is well known for his tremendous work ethic and expertise. In 2008 he was promoted to Regional Manager and relocated to Loveland, CO, and was named the Vice President - Rocky Mountain Division. Thad loved his work, but never lost perspective of what was truly important in life. His life is a testimony of his character..GOD FIRST, FAMILY SECOND, WORK THIRD…he lived in complete integrity! He loved Jesus and near the end relished in the thoughts of heaven and being in the presence of Jesus!

 

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Stormy Lienemann; children, Rileigh, Preston, and Bryce Lienemann; parents, Leon and Nelvie Lienemann; mother and father-in-law, Stan and Joan Dell; brothers in law, Jon (Nikki) Dell, Chris Tubbs and Matt Orr; sister-in-law Torri Lienemann; nieces, Maci (Kale) Mueller, Sydni & Skylar Lienemann; nephew, Taylon (Brooke) Lienemann, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by his brother, Trevor Lienemann; grandparents, Alfred and Dena Trauernicht, and Henry and Anna Lienemann; father-in-law, Nowlin Tubbs.

 

Celebration of Life service 10:30 AM (CST), Saturday, March 12th at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 6901 Panama Rd, Hickman, NE 68372. An online option will be available via Shepherd of the Hills Church Facebook Live.
