Obituary of John Ervin Creed

John E. Creed (68) passed away at home in Loveland, CO on February 19 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Denver, CO to John and Darlene Creed. John was married to his wife, Nancy 49 years. Their daughter, Katie and grandson, Reisten were the pride and joy of John’s life. John was a Vietnam Veteran proudly serving his country 6 years in the US Navy as a Gunners Mate Missile man. John was skilled in electrical, plumbing and home construction, co-owner of his own business. He was kind and caring always helping family, friends, elderly and others.  John was very social and it was often said there wasn’t a stranger John didn’t know. He was a talented woodworker building furniture and detailed construction wooden toys. John enjoyed working on new projects and innovative ideas. He loved the mountains. He was an avid motorcyclist riding with good friends many summers including to Jasper and Niagara Falls, Canada, California Redwoods, Washington DC, Virginia Beach, Branson and Nashville. He enjoyed river fishing with his brother George. He loved camping and spending time with his family and many friends. He appreciated a good joke and prank. His journey through this life was filled with love and adventure. John left his unique imprint on everything he did. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.  A private family service will be held per John’s request. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
