Obituary of Laura Ann Cunningham

On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Laura left this world to be with her Lord and Savior.  Her sudden death from health complications was shocking and unexpected.

She is fondly remembered as the mother of Ian Rorie and daughter of Willaim Cunninghham.  She leaves behind sister Cheryl Cooley (Phil), niece Corin Cooley and nephew Cameron Cooley; brother Brian Cunningham (Anita) and nephew Connor Cunningham plus many friends in St. Louis, Loveland and Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Cunningham.

Laura made her appearance into this world on October 4, 1961 in Akron, Ohio. At an early age she received Jesus as her personal savior. After high school in Houston, she studied at Culver City Bible College then earned a BA from the University of Missouri. She served one year with a mission in Greece. Upon returning, she earned a BSN from St. Louis University.  Laura worked as a RN for many years in St. Louis, Yosemite National Park, Ft. Collins and Loveland.

Laura was involved in her church and her community. She loved to travel and visited places like the Caribbean,  Morocco, Europe, Indonesia, Egypt.  She was fun to be around.  Her laughter was contagious.

There will be a celebration of Laura’s life at the Viegut Funeral Home located at 1616 N. Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO 80538 at 11AM, Saturday 12, 2022 with a brief reception to follow at Viegut Reception Center. Pastor Frank Cirone from Foundations Church will officiate.
