Obituary of William Leslie Allshouse

William Leslie Allhouse was born on August 19, 1925 in Bethany Missouri to Bernard and Clara Allshouse. He had one sister, Rosie.  Bill graduated from high school in 1943. Following graduation, he served in the US Navy until 1946. He then met his bride, Elsie May Potter, and they were married on July 5, 1947 in Missouri. They then settled into Longmont, Colorado where he worked at the post office. Bill enjoyed many hobbies from fishing and gardening to restoring old cars. They spent many years at the Wexford facility where they had fun in walking groups, Wii bowling tournaments and having meals with family. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 0032. Bill and Elsie celebrated 69 years of marriage before his passing on March 28, 2017. Bill is survived by his daughter, Connie Campbell and her husband, Dave Campbell. A celebration of life will be held on February 5th at 1 pm at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland.
