Obituary of Darlene L. Balderrama

Darlene L. Balderrama, age 62
Born into life on February 8, 1959 in Espanola, NM.
Entered into rest on January 19, 2022 in her hometown of Loveland, CO.

Darlene passed peacefully in her sleep, in her home, with her family by her side. She is survived by her 2 sons, Elias Balderrama (Micella) and Fidel Balderrama. She had 2 grandsons that she loved endlessly, Emilio and Xavier Balderrama. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sisters-Sofie Garcia (Chuma), Joe Trujillo, Bea Martinez, Chofe Herrera, Greg Trujillo (Virginia), Ruth Trujillo, Yvonne Ruiz (Carlos), Amy Gonzalez (Daniel), Archie Trujillo (Mary). Darlene is also survived by her partner, longtime boyfriend Paul Sanchez whom she met in 1987. Darlene was so loved and remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Humberto (Pancho) Balderrama. Also, by her mother and father, Susano and Antonia Trujillo, sister Corine Castillo and brother Dave Herrera.

Darlene loved spending time with her family, playing BINGO, bargain shopping, crocheting, sewing and crafting!
