I'm sorry I was unable to attend Carolyn's funeral. I was sad it wasn't online. My prayers are with you in spirit ❤

Carolyn was a dear friend who quickly became family. Her love for her precious family was ever constant and at many a coffee chat she spoke highly and was so proud of each and everyone ❤
She was adventurous and her love of travel was obvious. She knew I was not able to so we did it through travel stories and movies at the Rialto and Lovelands wonderful Public Library movies and discussions of foreign lands and it's rich history. She always searched for ways for us to see new horizons. She invited me to a family birthday celebration just prior to the pandemic. Once that started our adventures were mostly by phone as she was undergoing chemo and I worked and live with immune deficiencient individuals. Her spirit never wavered. Her pride and her love of her grandchildren never waivered. On our last chat before Christmas we talked of our annual after Christmas coffee visit that would occur in weeks to come. How sad I was when I found out from Bea she had gone home to be with our Lord. My heart is broken and breaks for the tremendous loss for her son's families and especially for the tender hearts of her grandchildren. Carolyn we pray we will mentor your beautiful life and pass on your goodness you walked with Jesus your entire life. Give my father-in-law
(A deacon at our church who passed Dec 7th) a hug as you sent him many a sweet treats over the years. I miss you so but look forward to seeing you again.

I have such great memories of Carolyn. She always made me feel like family with her kind words and infectious smile. She was a fabulous cook and I have yet to taste a smothered bean burrito as good as hers. :) I am forever grateful that I had the honor of knowing her. Praying that your memories of her will be a source of peace and comfort for you all. Sincerely, Angie Kendrick
