Throughout my younger years, Jim and Sara would visit his family in Loveland, whom I was best friends with. I remember how excited the family got when Jim and Sara were expected to arrive, and they did not dissapoint! We would go to Estes park, act like tourists, eat and laugh. I remember the laughter the most. There is a special bond this family has, when they’re together you can see it all over their smiling faces.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I worked closely with him at Hach for the last three years. He was always kind, quick to share a laugh and we talked at long lengths about 4H, hot rods and sandy beaches. I will miss him at work. We all miss him. Rest easy Jim!!

To the family of Jim. Growing up with Heather and Jason, I remember many times of Jim coming to dance performances, camping trips and many family BBQs. He was always the life of the party and definitely shared his love for life with his infectious smile and the best belly laugh. Jim will be greatly missed.

I met Jim shortly after he went into the work force in the 1990's.
We worked pretty closely together for about 10 years before he went to Hach.
He had an infectious laugh, and I remember his ability to poke fun.
Jim was a very knowledgeable individual that will be missed.

I grew up in Smokey Hill Ranches. Jim was our neighbor, my brothers friend, and one of the family!
We rode the bus to school together and I was always taking pictures he somehow managed to avoid.
We would all tear up the roads on just about anything that would move growing up.
Jim even came to Las Vegas with my brother to visit a few times.
It was just like when we were kids, staying up to see the sunrise, wadding in the (creek) except here he wadded in the Colorado river with my brother and kids.
Jim had a big heart, an infectious laugh, and easy smile.
You will be missed!
Save me a spot to watch the sunrise.
Until we meet again, Rest In Peace.
My condolences to everyone who had the honor to know and love Jim.

My heart goes out to Jim's family and close friends. A few years ago, I worked with Jim on a project at Hach. Jim was always kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I valued him as a trusted and helpful coworker.
