Leonard "Lynn” Brock Crowell died peacefully on November 25, 2021, in Loveland, CO at the age of 72. Lynn is survived by his son, Leonard Scott Crowell and his wife Erin Crowell, of Dallas, Texas, his daughter Stacy Noel Fountain and her husband Chase Fountain, of Round Rock, Texas, and his grandchildren, Taylor Ann Dudley, daughter of Stacy, Claire Elizabeth Crowell, daughter of Scott and Cullen Meyer Crowell, son of Scott. Lynn is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lois Pinckard Crowell, father, Leonard Watson Crowell, sister Glynda Crowell and brother Joe Bob Crowell. Lynn was born on June 24, 1949, in Turkey, Texas to Leonard Watson and Ruby Lois Crowell. Upon graduating from Flomont High School in 1967, he began working for the Santa Fe Railroad as a Track Inspector. Lynn was known by his family as a kind-hearted, easy-going man, who could strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved Bob Wills music, who was also from Turkey, Texas. Early in life he enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, and working on his cars, but his life’s passion was attending and contributing to Alcoholics Anonymous in Texas and Colorado. He never missed a meeting and was proud of his sobriety. He was blessed by the fellowship. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Foundations Church, in Loveland, Colorado. A small reception will follow. Pastor Carl Sutter will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lynn’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the local Alcoholics Anonymous groups around Loveland and Fort Collins area. The family would like to thank Linda Tanner for her help with arrangements and for being a very dear friend to Lynn.
