Jim taught Marty and I to rock climb in the early 90's; he took us climbing and hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and in the Moab, Utah area for about five years. Every experience was an adventure and forever to be remembered. Thank you, Jim, and Happy Trails to You. Our deepest sympathies to Jim's family. Our love, Bonnie and Marty Asplin

It was an honor and privilege to serve in public office with Jim Disney. His 8 years as a Larimer County Commissioner coincided with my 8 years as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives. During that time Jim and I became friends and together we worked on many issues that affected Larimer County and the House 51 District that I represented. I always found Jim to be a thoughtful, honest, intelligent and dedicated public servant. Although we were of different political parties that never was an issue between Jim and myself. His goal was always to do what was best for the citizens of Larimer County. I will miss him. Our county, state and country would be well served if all our elected officials conducted themselves and Jim did in his elected position. My deepest sympathies to Jim and his family. Bill Kaufman
