Obituary of Laurie Michelle Betz

Laurie Michelle Green was born in Wolf Point, Montana to Nathan Francis Green and Lynn Cecelia (Phillips) Green. The family moved to Worland, Wyoming where Laurie attended high school. She moved to Greeley, Colorado to care for her grandmother where she married and had her son Michael Bennet Onorato. She later met David Charles Betz and spent the remainder of her life in a loving partnership. They married August 8, 1999. David’s daughter Dava Ann embraced Laurie as her mother. Dava, her husband Cam and their three children, Tyler, Kadyn, and Gavin became Laurie’s intimate family and she loved and doted on her grandchildren with great passion. Those left to grieve Laurie’s passing include her heartbroken husband David, son Michael and his daughter Infinity, sister Tracey with husband Lewis and sons, Craig and David, daughter Dava and her cherished family, Cam, Tyler, Kadyn, and Gavin. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, nephew Leslie Baird, brother-in-law Gary Baird, her special brother Todd Harding Green, and a multitude of friends. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the ICU and entire medical staff at Poudre Valley Hospital. There will be a special intimate memorial in the near future. Until we meet again my little firecracker.
