Obituary of Scott Thomas Hilliard

It is with great sadness that we announce that Scott Thomas Hilliard died unexpectedly on November 15, 2021 at the age of 42 in his home. Scott was born on June 21, 1979 in Loveland Colorado to Karen Holthouser and Thomas Hilliard. Scott moved all over the United States, including St Thomas but always came back home to Loveland. There is no place like home. Scott worked diligently as a successful small business owner and continued making work his number one priority until his untimely death. Scott was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing, camping, grilling and biking with his friends. He also loved spending time watching football, especially his favorite team, the Denver Broncos. There is nothing he loved more than watching the games with a crowd and yelling at the TV which he did often. Scott was charming and funny and had a contagious smile and a magnetic personality. He was always helpful and willing to lend a hand to whoever needed it. While Scott will be missed by all who knew him, he would want everyone to know that he is finally at peace. Scott is survived by his mother Karen Holthouser (Steve), his father Thomas Hilliard (Carma), his stepfather Steven Watts (Julie); Grandmother Peggy Strandvold and Norma Watts; Sisters Christina Croner (Cale) and Hayley Hilliard; Brother Callen Hilliard; nephews Rob and Logan Croner and many extended friends and family. Preceding him in passing were his grandfathers Alan Strandvold and Thomas Hilliard Sr, grandmother Ann Hilliard. A celebration of his life will be held at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 2 pm. We invite all friends and family to join us in celebrating Scott’s life.
