Obituary of Jeffery Charles Broomfield

With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Jeffery Charles Broomfield last Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident. Jeff was born January 13, 1955 in El Cajon, CA, to William and Doris (Hines) Broomfield. He attended schools in El Cajon, CA and graduated from El Cajon High School. In 1984 he met the love of his life, Kristen Baugh. They married in San Diego, California in 1985. Jeff attended plumbing trade school and was a facilities manager for computer start-up companies. This led to a lifetime of helping folks with any fix-it problems. Jeff had the ability to figure out anything from remodels to engines. In 2018, Jeff and Kristen moved to Loveland to be closer to his brother and best friend, Jim. Jeff enjoyed the mountains, motorcycle riding, music, and the Colorado lifestyle. He will be missed by his wife, Kristen, of Loveland, brother Jim and wife Linda of Glen Haven, their daughter, Anita, of Escondido, CA, Brother-In-Law ErIc Baugh and his wife, Anne of Big Fork, MT, Brother-In-Law Dale and wife, Diane, their son, Samuel and wife Jennifer and their daughter, Taylor, all of St. Michael, MN, as well as numerous friends and neighbors. A celebration of life will be on Tuesday, November 16th at 1:00 at Viegut’s Funeral Home, 1616 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 970-679-4669
