Obituary of Debra A. Thornburg

On November 9, 2021, Debra Ann Thornburg, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was called home to be with the lord at the age of 55. Debra was born on November 20, 1965 in Spokane, Washington, to Carol Wood and James Conrad. She received a degree in nursing in 1990 and worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for 30 years. On March 17, 1990, she was married to Gary Thornburg. Together they raised three children and her step daughter. Debra had a passion for her career in nursing, her family, and her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren living in the moment and exploring. She was well known for the passion she had for her loved ones and her extensive knowledge in nursing. Debra is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Jacobson, as well as several cousins, aunts, and uncles. She is survived by her husband, Gary Thornburg, her three children and step daughter, Vanessa Crosby (Mike), Adam Gutierrez (Autumn), Leeann Bocanegra (Alfredo), and Brenda Mestas; and her 8 grandchildren, Savannah, Aspen, Sonny, Jordan, Bently, Joey, Alfredo Jr., and Isabella. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at 11:00am at Calvary Chapel Loveland, 240 W. Fourth St, Loveland.
