Obituary of Brian Edward Lindquist

Brian Edward Lindquist was born in Minneapolis, Mn. on February 5, 1929 and left this world to join the Lord on October 17, 2021, at age 92. He resided in Minneapolis until age 13 when his parents Leroy and Phyllis Lindquist moved to Lawndale, Ca. Brian graduated from Leuzinger High and El Camino College. He was a crew member on a Liberty ship serving near the close of WWII. The VFW honored his service, recognizing him as a veteran in 2016. Shirley Lindquist became his soul-mate soon after they met in 1947, they married July 29, 1949. They have three children, Gary (Debbie) Lindquist of Loveland, Bruce Lindquist of Keokuk, Ia. and DiAnn Lindquist of Loveland. Brian is also survived by a granddaughter Sarah Lindquist and a Great-Grandson, Jaylen. Moving to Loveland in 1954, Brian spent most of his career building homes, operating as the Lindquist Construction Co. There are at least a hundred buildings in Northern Colorado that he constructed either as a general contractor or the masonry sub-contractor. Retiring in 1997, he focused on caring for the rental properties he had built and retained as investment, remaining active until 2010 when age began to cause him to take it easy. Memorial service Saturday October 30, 2021, 11:00am at First Baptist Church with a reception following services at the church.
