Obituary of Kenneth Allen Simpson

Ken Simpson, age 61, died at home surrounded by his loving family on April 19th.  Ken was a fix it, dismantle it, design it, create it, toolman and gadget collector kind of guy. He enjoyed working on cars, building motorcycles, and creating custom pieces in his shop. He was excellent at airbrush painting and even had a website called Ken Dog Designs. His last project was trying to finish his 1956 Dodge truck for his son Kyle. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and loved ones. He enjoyed trips to California, auto shows, barbecues with family and friends, and recreational shooting with the guys. He was an avid Harley fan and looked forward to his summer rides and trips to Sturgis. He battled cancer for many years and was a fighter until the end.  Ken is preceded in death by his mother and father, Beverly and Richard Simpson as well as a few aunts and cousins.  He leaves behind his family: son Kyle, daughter-in-law Adrienne, german shepard kids Max and Kimber, sister Terry, brother-in-law Don, other mother Nancy, Paris "PG" as well as Janine, Mark, their kids and grandkids. He also leaves behind life long friends that he thought of as family: Kevin and Beth, "Beaver" Bruce as well as "Laddy" Dave.  There are many more people that are not mentioned here that meant so much to Ken. He was a great friend, a loving father and brother, and he will be deeply missed by us all. We love you Ken.  We will remember you always. Now put on those wings and ride on!  The scattering of ashes and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Specials thanks to his excellent oncologist, Samuel Shelanski, who went above and beyond for Ken's care and to Pathway Hospice for comforting him during his last days. Thanks also to Dave Viegut as well as his family and staff for their caring support and excellent care of end of life arrangements. Services at a later date
